It is crucial to keep things clean and disinfected in a dog kennel to ensure the health and well-being of the dogs housed there. A clean environment helps prevent the spread of diseases, parasites, and infections among the dogs, reducing the risk of illness and promoting overall hygiene. Regular cleaning and disinfection also help maintain a pleasant and comfortable living space for the dogs, which can contribute to their mental and physical well-being. By implementing proper cleaning and disinfection protocols, dog kennel owners can create a safe and healthy environment that supports the health and happiness of their canine guests.

Maintaining cleanliness and implementing proper sanitation practices in a breeding program is crucial for ensuring the health and well-being of the animals involved. A clean environment helps prevent the spread of diseases and infections among the breeding animals, reducing the risk of illness and promoting overall hygiene. Sanitizing equipment and living spaces helps create a safe and healthy environment for the animals to thrive, minimizing the chances of contamination and supporting optimal breeding conditions. By prioritizing cleanliness and sanitation in a breeding program, breeders can safeguard the health of their animals, improve breeding outcomes, and uphold high standards of care and welfare.

Check Out One Of The Main Causes For Parasites

I was on the panel of a zoom call the other night and there was a gentleman that went before me that had a product that was a fogger that could sanitize your kennels and areas by fogging it after you do it regular routine cleaning. It was a fairly new product and, they didn’t have too much testing underneath them I guess yet. It had been proven to kill Parvo, but had not been proven to kill Giardia or coccidia. These are all parasites that are very easy to pick up and facilities and areas that have multiple dogs. His biggest thing was how safe the product was to use around the dogs, and that they could even go in directly right after and lick it and be fine. It is a Mr. that is used in restaurants and gyms and places like that. All of that is great. But I feel like I’ve already found some thing that is just as good if not better. You have to go in and clean and sanitize like regular no matter what. And these two products are things that I implement during that cleaning and then I don’t have to go in after the fact and fog. I’m going to list out the benefits of each of these produhcts. Keep in mind that the SC is safe enough to spray and clean food bowls and for them to directly eat afterwards without rinsing. The other product, which is the F10 SCXD has a soap in it. That product used to clean food or water bowls does need to be rinsed. But the SC which stands for super concentrate is just as safe as that other product that was being pitched, but doesn’t make anything an additional added or more equipment that you need to purchase for your facility. I will add some suggestions on how I use it but a spray bottle is all that is necessary.

Oh, and did I mention it’s biodegradable? Yeah, that was important for me since I sanitize my potty areas daily. In fact I use the SC to kill off pathogens with a power washer gun that hooks to the hose and has the bulb that adds cleaner. It also has a hose to use a five gallon bucket on super cold days when the hose isn’t available. I do my prewash with Simple Green Oxygen Outdoor Cleaner. This makes me feel secure that I am doing what is right for planet earth and my dogs.

This is the one that does not need to be rinsed. Keep in mind that it is a Super Concentrate and it only takes 8ml to make a litter so it stretches far as well. Easiest way to apply in programs is with a pressurized weed sprayer. Yes, people use then for toxic chemicals but just like people and dogs its what’s inside that counts.

Once again this is a super concentrate and only take 8ml to make a liter. This is the one that has soap in it and it must be rinsed if used in any food bowls. I use this in any area that needs a good scrub because the soap helps me not have to put in as much elbow grease. I used Rescue for years and it isn’t broad spectrum and also leaves a residue. This has been a game changer.

I have been using these products in or facility for a couple months now and I’m not going back.
